Ok, now I'm upset with the overturn. This is what I mean when I say they need to adjust the rule. It leaves too much individual opinion as it's written now. One rule says two feet and a football move while the other says maintain control through the catch. I'll say this the Gresham catch is virtually identical to Byrants.

Yep. The only thing I can see is that the ref may called progress stopped so it may not matter. Then the second play 2 steps and fumble. Bryant took 3

I just don't understand how they didn't leave it as called. I always thought if it was inconclusive you couldn't overturn. He said last night that his momentum caused the whole process. Today he said he may have reached. Well if he may have reached then isn't that inconclusive?????? Sour grapes- damn right

Regardless. At the end of a football move catch the ground knocked the ball away from both recievers. One was decided to be a catch the other was not.

The NFL needs to find away to limit judgement calls as much as possible.

The overturn didn't cost us the game but it sure didnt help.

I've been upset with it. It's a joke. My main beef with the entire thing was the fact that it was overturned. I've been bashed on multiple forums for being a "homer" and the rule has been thrown in my face ad nauseam when my original argument has never been about the rule. My entire argument was that the call on the field was a catch, and that there was no conclusive evidence to OVERTURN THE CALL ON THE FIELD. And I still believe that. There is no way to say 100% what Dez is doing. Is he making a football move or is he not? It was really close. And this video that Romo posted proves exactly that. There was little evidence to overturn Gresham's catch and there was little to overturn Dez's. Yet Dez's is overturned but Gresham's isn't. It was not conclusive that Dez wasn't making a football move even though you have plenty of foolish people adamantly claiming that it is so clear that he isn't. Mike Pereira has ran his mouth nonstop about how he thinks the call was right and how he doesn't "think" Dez was making a football move, but the entire time he is ignoring the fact that ON THE FIELD, it was ruled a catch and it's not enough clear-cut evidence to decide whether Dez is making a football move or isn't. The fact that it was overturned is one of the all-time worst calls I've ever witnessed.

Like you said, it's not why we lost, but it was a horrible call and it helped contribute to the loss.

Yet Earl, you were the one that said the culture has changed in Dallas after the stars aligned for us in 2014. So, how do you feel about that bold statement 18 months later? What culture change did you see 2 years ago? just asking. BJJ. please explain to me how you came to that conclusion.
