Toughest post Ive ever had to admit to

Everyone knows I've locked horns with BJJ. Last week when Philly traded McCoy BJJ said, "Chip is gonna destroy your Eagles and has started all ready". I took exception because I told BJJ we have to see how Chips plan unfolds. Well heres the tough part... BJJ was right.

1. Initially the reports were saying the Rams get Foles and Philly gets Bradford a #2 and we swap 1st rounders giving Philly the 10th pick in round one. The reports were wrong and Philly gives up a 2nd for a bust with a HUGE contract that is always hurt with MAJOR injuries. Whaaaaat?

2. Chip, "I love McCOy and he is our best player" to "This isnt baseball and his cap hit was to big so I want Frank Gore" to "I want Matthews" to "Lets break the bank for Demarco"

It is painfully obvious that Chip is reactionary and has absolutely no plan. Toughest thing I've ever had to admit to on this board but BJJ was right. Chip is destroying this team.

I've just always tried to be honest BJJ. I have no idea what he's doing.

Jarntt, don't know if you know this but Chip's reportedly shopping All Pro Evan Mathis too. We have nothing at WR. Mathews is a good slot guy but they have nothing at WR. I love Ertz and think he's on the brink of stardom but he doesn't stop EVERY team from putting 8 in the box.

Believe me, I've racked my brains trying to find a way to put a positive spin on all this but Bradford at 13 million... you've got to be kidding me.

I do think Alonso can be a great player but all he's doing is replacing a good ILB in Demeco Ryans, so no major upgrade.

You should try the honesty thing too BJJ. The main issue I've had with you is the, "Dallas is so freaking awesome and Philly is terrible" schtick. It's pointless. I've always said what I think is great about Philly/Dallas and what isnt.

Yes, I know. I heard they were very close to trading him as of this afternoon

When I was ragging on you last week I was primarily attacking his college style of play that I still feel won't work, especially in this smash mouth division. But he unloaded McCoy to the bills because his contract was too much. (His words, not mine). Then he goes out and gets Matthews and Murray and now has more money spent at RB than he had in McCoy. Then Foles and a draft pick for injury prone Bradford and his huge, useless contract. Wow, I knew Kelly was a bone head, but not this bad. Merry Xmas Egal fans. I think I will laugh now !!!!!!!

Now that Tim Tebow has come in for a work out, I just can't stop laughing at the Egals. What a clown show and the pure shock entertainment value is off the charts for me. This pleases me to no end. So much to discuss with malko these days but it wouldn't surprise me if he checked himself in a mental institute.

If you stop and think about it Tebow would be the best option between he and the 3QB's currently on the team.

The Tebow thing doesnt bother me at all cause they didnt sign him and if they did he'd only be a #3 at best. I'm confused at some of the things Chip is doing but the one thing I do know is he believes in culture. He wants people that work hard, believe in the system and people that are good guys. Cooper would be gone if his contract didnt handcuff Philly into keeping him for one more year... but he will be gone at the end of this season once the dead money issue is erased.

Like I said, Im confused at some of his decisions but I do like the culture of having good guys from top to bottom. Desean gone cause of his mouth, McCoy gone cause of his mouth, Cary Williams gone cause of his mouth. We are down to one jerk (Riley Cooper) and he will be gone soon. No way does Chip go after Dorial Green Beckham and they need a WR. No way he'd ever have a Dez or Greg Hardy either. I'm not knocking Dallas for going after high talent guys with bad reps... but I know Chip wont have that on his team.

I'm calling BS. If that were the case he would cut Cooper NOW. If you cut him today and designated him a post 6/1 cut you would save $1M on this years cap and would only have like a $2M cap hit next year.. With Cooper on your team you can't go down that road at all. If we offers chip Dez at a discount he would cum in his pants.

You're wrong Jarntt. Cooper would be over a 5 million cap hit in dead money. Dez is a star but he's not a Kelly guy. He let Desean who is good and Lesean who is on the same level as Dez walk. I read in the Philly papers almost daily about the guys Chip is after. Anyone who has been a problem has been gone. I hate Cooper but he is known as an extremely hard practise guy and a positive minded guy. Chip has dumped every big personality player and he just would not go after a guy like Dez, guaranteed.

Jarntt, you need to read some Philly papers and what they say about Chip. What Cooper did shows he's a dick but he's not going to challenge Chip like Desean, Lesean or Cary. I have a draft guide here saying Chip Kelly won't draft anyone of questionable character and DGB and others are all ready of the Eagles draft board. You haven't read what everyone is saying about Chip and what he's trying to build. No way he ever goes after a Dez type. No way, no how.

What is this, rag on Dez day or what? Be careful what you wish for malco. I had concerns with DEz 3 years ago like everyone else. However I will also say this, If Dez keeps his head on straight, stays out of trouble and jail, continues to improve and stay healthy with this offense for years to come, has a shot at breaking a lot of Jerry Rice's records.

Malko, I said POST 6/1 cut. You would save exactly $1M on your 2015 cap. If you cut him pre 6/1 it would only cost $1.4M extra. Not a lot if your coach was as anti-problem guys as you say.

Oh, you read it in a draft guide. Why didn't you say so, I stand corrected... :D

Not just in a draft guide Jarntt... go read the Philly papers or anything talking about Chip. All you hear is culture culture culture.

Dez won't come anywhere close to Rice. He has yet to put up one huge season. 1300 yards seasons means he will have to play into his late 40s to catch Rice. Do you see Dez putting up 1000 yard seasons 17 years from now.

Again BJJ, Dez is a great player but not a Chip guy. When that flag was over turned vs. Detroit and if the refs threw a flag against Dez for running on the field with no helmet and they threw a 15 yard flag on him and Dallas loses the game how would you feel about him now? When he's winning he is great... its when he's losing. If ANYONE in the Dallas organization thought Dez would put up Rice numbers then he would be signed long term right now!

Now on to this fallacy of Dez putting up Rice numbers. Rice has 208 TDs, 1549 catches and just under 23000 receiving yards. If Dez puts up the same EXACT numbers as he has in his first 5 years as he does every year until he is 42 (which is impossible cause Dez wont put up 16 TDs and 1300 yards when he is 42 but lets say he does...) At 42 Dez will still have less yards and less catches then Rice. You expecting Dez to put up 1300 yards and 16 TD's in 2030? Well thats the only way he will catch Rice.

I wonder why Kelly wasn't afraid to recruit questionable character players and now he wont draft them?

Dez won't break or even approach Rice's records but he is 26 if he repeats last year he'll pass Rice in TDs at 36. Yards and catches at 39. Or were you using his 5 year average? Not sure why you would average in years when he didn't start.

Back to the point at hand, you are crazy if you don't think Kelly would jump all over Dez if given the chance. No one in the league talks about character more than Garrett, but I think both understand talent wins games. I don't get how you can make the character argument with Cooper on your team.

Wasn't Peters arrested a couple of years ago? Does he get released next?
