The Cowboys are still trying to lower LCB Brandon Carr's cap number.
"We’re evaluating, looking to the extent that we can make contractual adjustments that would fit," said owner Jerry Jones. "And help us under the cap, we want to try to do that with him." Carr is currently owed an $8 million base salary and counts more than $12 million against the salary cap. After Dallas drafted Byron Jones in the first round, it's possible Carr will end up a post-June 1 cut.

No one's going to bite on that salary. He either takes a restructure of he's cut. He won't be here at that price.

I kinda like Carr, but he is being such a **** ass about this whole situation I thought we might be able to find someone to take him off our hands so we can use his salary for another needed piece.
