Cowboys signed second-round DE Randy Gregory to a four-year contract.
The Cowboys had quite a haul when the draft process was all said and done, coming away with arguably three first-round talents in CB Byron Jones (No. 27 overall), Gregory (No. 60), and G/T La'El Collins (UDFA). Talent-wise, Gregory may be the most-gifted edge rusher in the class. But thanks to off-field concerns, Gregory slipped into Day 2. He'll help rush the passer likely off the weak side.

Not sainting Gregory just yet but if these three live up to expectations it will be a great draft.

I am hoping so, also hope Lawrence likes the left side. If so this could be a pretty good upgraded line even without a top DT

If the D-ends can establish a great pass rush it will help the DT's we have, thus help the LB's and DB's. On paper we are running out of excuses. But then again we are Cowboy fans so there will be one or two out there.

Terrific article by Brandon George this morning on Tyron Smith and his mentoring of Gregory and Collins in the Dallas Morning News. Well worth the effort to find and read. Exactly the type of in house leadership we want from the Cowboys. Kid is paying it forward.
