Cowboys LG Ronald Leary will undergo an MRI on his back.
It's news because it gives the Cowboys the opening they need to elevate La'El Collins to the first-team. Collins was dominant in Dallas' preseason opener, and has more than enough talent to overtake Leary by Week 1, back injury or not.




Man it would be awesome to have basically 4 1st round pedigrees on the OL all playing up to potential.

My grandson is a junior starting LG in high school and an avowed Cowboys hater. But even he saw Collins work against SD and was blown away... and promised me one or two of "those" before the end of this season.

Grandpa would be pretty damn happy with that.

Collins in a damn, nasty brawler. Reminds me a little of Erik Williams.
