Saw this on another Cowboy forum. Thought we could have a little fun with it as well. It was hard for me to do just five, so I made an honorable mention;
1) Roger Staubach
2) Bob Lilly
3) Tony Dorsett
4) Randy White
5) Mel Renfro
Honerable mention;
1) Ed "Too Tall" Jones
2) Chuck Howley
3) Preston Pearson
4) Ralph Neely
5) Thomas " Hollywood" Henderson

1. Roger
2. Mr. Cowboy
3. Darrin Woodson (only Cowboy whose jersey graces my closet - complete class and true leader in and off the field)
4. Emmett Smith - the Giants game in 1993 iced it for me.
5. Dan Reeves - spoke at our senior breakfast in 1974 - was as impressive then as now.

After the year we just had, and not making the playoffs, I had to revise my list today. I MISS THE STABILITY OF WHAT TOM LANDRY BROUGHT TO THIS ORGANIZATION.

I'm in my early 30's so I can't rank the real cowboys greats by just seeing their highlights, so in no particular order:
1. Jason Witten
2.Demarcus Ware
3.Marion Barber III
4.Tony Romo
5. Michael Irvin
honorable mentions:
Roy Williams (the safety)
Deion Sanders
Dat Nguyen
Darren Woodson
Larry Allen

Gravytrain must be a young pup. Marion the fumbling Barber, Tony Homo and Deion Sanders who couldn't tackle if his life depended on it. And the most over rated piece of **** we ever had, Demarcus Ware. Next to Craig Morton, Ware was always my next hated player that ever put on a Cowboy uniform.

His overrated ass is going to the Hall of Fame. First Ballot.
Just sayin...

You know I've always hated him as bad as you hate Rod Hill. I know many Cowboys fans loved Ware. I always remember him never coming through in big games. Over paid for his results. Had to go to another team to win a ring, whoopie. Sounds like a receiver we currently have that makes top 5 money but can't make the top 20 wr list.

Rod Hill ain't going into the Hall of Fame without a ticket. And I'd refuse admission simply because he was a fraud in a Cowboys jersey.

I’ve never understood BJJ’s dislike for Ware. Never will either.
