2016 Week 3 - Da Bears

The Bears defense is good enough to create problems. And our defense makes any offense capable of putting up points.
This is one of those games that worries me.

But if we lose this game to the Bears, we are in for another very long season. IMHO, this is a must win.

It's absolutely a must win against a team that may be lucky to start the season 1-5. But you and I both know how the Cowboys have spit the bit against teams we have no business losing to. And with a road trip against the Whiners the following week, we need to be 3-1 going into the next three games (CIN; @ GB; the off week prior to Iggles).

Bear's lost 2 players and it was just announced, Cutler is out 2 - 3 weeks, lol. Niners will get beat up, win or lose to the Sea Chickens. Its a nice set up if we take care of business and then we get some of our defensive players back and we can finally see what our defense will look like going forward.

The Bears actually lost 4 guys. Cutler and 3 guys in their defense. Two DL, their MLB and Cutler. Their defense was below average before losing 3 guys. I expect the run game to look dominant in this game. I'm hoping Crawford's move to DE sparks some life into him. He hasn't done sh since he got paid. I believe this is the week that we finally see why Elliott was picked top 5.

That's what I hope to see. The Bears are not a good football team. I want to see the Cowboys blow them out. Convince me and everyone else that I should take this team seriously. A good football team will do that.

The only think that scares me about the Bears is their WR's. I'd also probably prefer to face Cutler than Hoyer too. Cutler has more talent but that guy is so erratic that he would throw a pick or two. I've seen Hoyer look really good but I've also seen him look really bad, like last year's playoff game when he was with Houston.

Jeffery eats us up every time they play us and I expect nothing less from him. And yeah - Hoyer can actually have good games out of the blue. Puts a premium on our offense doing what we think they are capable of doing which is to control the clock and momentum.

I heard this morning that the Cowboys are 5th in time of possession this year and Chicago is dead last in TOP. There should be no reason that the Cowboys running game doesn't dominate this game.
Quick tidbit... Philly is also top 5 in TOP

And there is no reason why we shouldn't put at least 38 to 44 points in this one.

Man... it just gets worse for the Bears.
LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Top receiver Alshon Jeffery sat out Thursday's practice because of a knee injury, meaning the Chicago Bears could be missing two of their most important players on offense when they visit the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
With quarterback Jay Cutler's status in doubt because of a sprained right thumb, the Bears (0-2) might also be without their No. 1 option at wide receiver.
Jeffery was unable to practice after participating on a limited basis the previous day.
Coach John Fox said the Bears are "monitoring" Jeffery, who was a limited participant on Wednesday, and that it "didn't go as well from yesterday to today."

But Dez will get his first T.D. as well today. Beasley could have a big day as well.

Let him. I don't think he will last very long though. Good for us though. Scandrick can have the week off to heal.

Game over. Time to get ready for the 49 whiners.
