Never underestimate the East Coast anti-Cowboys bias when it comes to the HOF. They will probably make Witten wait a few times before they actually vote him in.

Yep. Tony Gonzalez will be the smoke test. If there is a sure fire 1st ballot nominee coming up, it's him. If he isn't selected next January along with Ed Reed, then there's no chance Witten is either.
