Too bad Tampa Bay has to open up with the Cowboys. Buc's are gonna get waxed ! I feel it. And my current bold prediction going into this season, Baring injuries, the Kansas City Chiefs will go undefeated.

I'm not sure if I am going to be a fan of Dan Quinn. He has announced the Cowboys defense will still operate a 3-4 defense which i am not a fan of at all.

Things pretty quiet since the last report on Dak. I guess no news is good news. Jerry must be on a long vacation !!

I guess there is no need to be in this forum anymore after that comment. Mods do such a great job in here of promoting and being supportive. I guess there is nothing in here anymore for me. Time to move on !!!

Hearing Elliot is in the best shape of his life. I guess Jerry must have had a talk with him after last season and slammed down the hammer on him. I guess after last year's performance and only two years left on his contract, he has a lot to play for the next two years if he wants to stay around.

Looks like the Cowboys finally have a decent QB in Gilbert. I like him.

Fingers crossed the injury bug doesn't kill us again this year. Jerry still sucks but maybe this is the year we win inspite of him.

IMO the team is pretty stacked in general and the biggest questions this season are -
1. Can Dak stay healthy
2. Can the offensive line stay healthy
If there are no huge injury issues this season? There is no excuse as to why they aren't major contenders.

I've been a fan since forever, I can remember when Jerry Jones bought the team and fired Landry.
And the running joke for Cowboys fans is that we ALWAYS have high expectations. Although I really don't as I expect injuries again and would be surprised if injuries don't plague us again.
I suppose the name "Micah Prescott" reaks of young, but I'm not. I am newb to this forum though.

When I meant newbie, I meant newbie as in Cowboy fan. I find the real Cowboy fans that come from my era have a different mindset than the younger ones. You guys were not around for the glory years when we built and made America's team.

I witnessed the creation of a 90s dynasty so I think at this point I'm passed 'newbie'. Not even today's players have done that. IMO a new fan would be young fans that are only 5-10 years deep into watching.
