This team has put up 170 pts.

Only the Bills have scored more with 172.

Cowboys vs Bills in the Super Bowl for a retro 90s flashback.

And for the 5th week in a row we leave some points off the board. Week 1 our kicker left 8 points off the board in a 2 point loss, otherwise we would be 5 - 0. Did I mention Zac Martin didn't play in that game along with our two starting defense end in D. Lawrence and Gregory.

This is the first game I felt like McCarthy didn't have a big "WTF?" moment. He scared me on that one 4th down I thought he was actually going to go for it while we were up but he was just trying to draw an off-sides which was relieving.

The only thing that made me think "huh? is the random times we play CeeDee as a RB which only happened once yesterday but I still do not understand the point of that at all. CeeDee has a tall thin frame he is not built like a RB at all, if he were to get injured running in between the tackles McCarthy would never hear the end of that.

I'm wondering if there will be some big trick play using CeeDee at RB that we are trying to build up to or something, because otherwise I do not get it at all.

Spread vs NE is -4pts.

NE has a really good defense, but a really bad offense.

Might be a low scoring game if they effectively shut down our run...but I do expect Dallas to win this and I expect them to beat that 4 point spread.

Cowboys \ Patriots
X QB
X RB
X WR
X OL
X DL
X LB
X DB
Head Coach X

I could only find one check mark to give the Patriots. Is that so wrong?

I think you can give them DL too... but then that's it

It's about time the Cowboys beat the Pats.

Hard to believe the last time the Cowboys beat the Pats was back in 1996.

I was at the last game when the Cowboys beat the Patriots in New England. Hershall Walker broke a big run in over time for a T.D. 1987.

What a game!

Pats really played well.

The Cowboys snatched victory in the jaws of defeat!

Diggs with another pick 6.

The streak continues for Diggs and the Cowboys win streak is now at 5.

Cowboys had too many penalties, a 100 or more in penalty yards.

This is one of those ugly games that the Cowboys needed to win.

If the Cowboys are to be a Super Bowl team, they need to be resilient in the face of adversity.

The one blemish we still have on this team. Mike McCarthy. I put all the sloppy play and penalties on him. Team still lacks disipline during stretches of every game this year. This has to be cleaned up or it will be another year we don't get by the divisional round once again.

I agree, he is our biggest weak link. He made several questionable calls yesterday. It is rare to have a game where I don't question his decision making.

That game was fun to watch, very exciting. But in retrospect I am now concerned about our defense. We shouldn't have given up that many points to an offense like that. The Pats are not a strong offense.

That said Randy Gregory is looking special, I hope he can keep that up all year. What a huge sack he had.

Diggs is special too obviously but if we are being honest that pick-6 wasn't all him, the WR bobbled it and there was some luck involved. Still he was in the right place at the right time which is what he is good at.

Our offense is absolutely stellar. Maybe the best offense in the NFL. We average 460 YPG which is #1 in the NFL

Zeke is looking Zekish again. Polard is a fantastic side kick to Zeke....RB duo is great.

Our WR is amazing even without Gallup...when Gallup returns best WR core in the NFL. Only TB is agruable.

Offense line is playing well despite injury issues and some penalty issues...I'm happy so far

QB...love Dak. Not the best QB in the NFL but certainly top-10 and maybe top-5. I trust him when the game is on the line.

And the one weak spot...TE...doesn't seem that weak any more. Schultz is making a name for himself.

Best case scenario is McCarthy learns from his mistakes these past few weeks and does a better job managing the team the rest of the way.

But yeah, it's true he has made questionable decisions since becoming the head coach of the Cowboys.

Sorry. But there is nothing to question here. 12 Penalties for 115 yards. 2 INT's, 2 fumbles one lost, another missed field goal and turned the ball over on downs in their own end of the field on their first drive. As happy as I am about the victory, this has to be cleaned up. You really think we survive a win vs. the Cardinals, Packers, Rams and Bucs in the playoffs with all those blunders on the sheet in a single game? I don't.

Come playoff time we do need McCarthy to go on a blunder free streak which is asking a lot because there is only 1 game so far this season I think he did everything on par.

Either that or the offense needs to get so hot that it makes up for McCarthy's errors which is plausible.

I wondering now that I have been thinking about it, you guys starting to wonder how many points we can actually score if we play a clean game? Especially the last game. I mean the way we ran the ball up and down the field to a tune of 567 yards, we could and should have scored over 50 points.
