If there’s such a thing as a “quality loss’”, that was one. Didn’t like a couple of plays at the end (4th & 3 and you try forcing the ball downfield to a well covered CeeDee) but the young offensive line wasn’t bad (thanks Carter, you dumb ass) and the defensive line did good things.
Onward…

Yeah, "quality loss" if it were just any other NFL team.
But we've seen this from Dak and the Cowboys since 2021 to 2023.
It's the inability to win in big games.
Not being able to make big plays in the clutch is the same old problem we saw against the Eagles.

No doubt. And the good teams learn how to win them. So we’ll see how the new HC gets them over the hump or if he’s able to.

Just enjoy the ride, I guess.

Been my philosophy for a couple of decades now. Options are few and I’m too old to hope Jerry or Stephen get their s**t together.
Onward!

I am happy with the week 1 simply because I was expecting Dallas to get crushed, but instead it was a game that we *SHOULD* have won, and could have won.
The offense did "well" against what was the best defense in the NFL last season. CeeDee's drops were the big issue, and I seriously doubt that will be an issue the rest of the year. I mean I am suer he'll have a couple more drops, but not multiple drops that all game defining like this game.
And the defense did really well. Our CBs shut down their WRs. Diggs and Bland look like a great duo. And we did a good job on Barkley, I think we did well stuffing him in the middle. Kenny Clark is an immediate impact. Also 5 "QB Hits" and one sack. There was some pressure. I mean yes, there would have been even more with Parsons, but we had something without him. We made Hurts run.

Agreed on all points. Hope to see more of this defensive level against the Giants this Sunday. Tough slate of games upcoming… this is as much a “must win” game as there is.
