2026 Dallas Cowboys Off Season

I know there hasn’t been a lot of activity in this board lately so let’s see if we can get something going. I won’t create a separate draft thread just yet.
With that said this is what I’d like to see happen… Caleb Downs falls to #12 and the Raiders trade Maxx Crosby to Dallas for #20.
In free agency the Cowboys would resign Javonte Williams and George Pickens. The Cowboys also HAVE to do something with their Tackles. There are not any good options at LT in free agency. Do they roll the dice and move Guyton to RT and hope that Nate Thomas can develop into your starting LT?
They also need to do something at LB. Because they brought in Christian Parker there is some speculation that the Cowboys will target Nakobe Dean and Reed Blankenship in free agency.

Sounds like a great spot for Joe Milton or Sam Howell.

I would have liked to see them keep Reddy Steward. Othman that no real surprises right now.

Didn’t think they’d let both Mafah and Blue go. Figure at least one of them ends up on the PS.
A little surprised about Sam Williams but I’m OK with that one. No sense in keeping him and the guaranteed money. Better to move on.
Let’s go…

I saw a rumor that the Cowboys might trade for James Connor. Not sure how true that is but I do think they make a move for a RB before the season starts.

Hmm...
Think I'd rather stick with either Blue or Mafah TBH.

Mafah yes but not so sure about Blue. Blue seems like an idiot to me. He’s been here 2 years and it seems like there is always some reason he’s getting pushed back down the depth chart. He’s either late to meetings, wearing the wrong size shoes which lead to a foot injury, or some other dumbass reason. I would rather they trade for or sign another rookie RB instead of bring Blue back. Give all his carriers to Davis and let’s bring in another young project RB.

I’m pretty confident in TJ Bass filling that role for 4 games however if they have another injury they might he screwed.

I agree with Mr. B on this one... as long as they have no additional issues in the middle of the line, should be OK.
Of course - that's one big ass "if"...
