Predict Dice-K's 2007 stats

Post#1 » by Bow2Yao11 » Mon Apr 2, 2007 4:28 am

I would say around 15 wins with a sub 4 era and 170 K's. He might walk quite a lot of hitters but his control should be very good.

19 wins, 222 IP, 200 K, 3.43 ERA. Rookie of the Year, finish second to Santana in the Cy Young voting. He's going to have some outing where he'll just be otherworldly and then other outings where he walks a few guys and gets up to 110 pitches in the 6th inning.

What?

I'll go with 17-7, 212 innings, 197 K's, 3.58 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and he'll be ROY.

I definetly agree that the ERA will be under 4.00 which will be excellent. 16-18 wins, 190K, 3.78 ERA, 1.28 WHIP. I know he was "working out some things" in his last couple spring starts but the walks still worry me a bit. I don't think he will enter the elite whip producers until next year.

Check it out: http://www.myp2p.eu/MLB.htm

You'll have to download a program, sopcast or something, but you get the game!

I'll go along with this.

Question: If I go over to the Yankees board and mention Daisuke, does that count as trolling?

I'm going with...

19-7
3.21 ERA
224 IP
211 Ks
1.35 WHIP

I think a lot of us are shortchanging this guy on his numbers, especially wins. He looks like he's going to go 7-9 innings deep each start which adds up to more decisions than the regular 5-7 inning types. I gave him 7 IP/start over 32 starts and a little under a strikeout per inning. It's realistic to think of this guy as an ace already.
