2007 Off to Rough Start Already?

I think we're in trouble.

The defense was supposed to carry us this year. The Phillips 3-4 was supposed to send all kinds of pressure at the QBs. But we don't have our second best pass rusher (Ellis) and it looks like we won't have Newman (indications so far anyway) and nobody to really replace him. Without that "shutdown" or at least man-to-man capable CB, you can't play this pressure D.

I'm not even mentioning all the questions on the other side of the ball with Terry Glenn, Romo and Jason Garret's offensive calling ability, etc. But we may have to hope the offense carries us a little while, puts some points up. But it does not look good even before our first game.
