I say TO will definitely play. Doubting that man due to an injury for a big game is a mistake. Just look at what he did with the Eagles in that situation.

TO will play, but we'll have to see if he can be 100% effective.

Super Bowl Pick: New England vs. Dallas

I'll guess Dallas will face Tampa and than Green Bay. But it could easily be any of the 4-6 seeds in the 2nd round.

Pats vs. Dallas

It's going to be hard for TO to sit, so I expect him to play, and hopefully he can be close to 100%.

I don't think the Bucs can beat the Giants. Does that mean we get them in the 2nd round if Seattle wins?

It would be too bad if our magic runs out early. We've had some great breaks this year, let's hope our health returns fast.

Cowboys get the team with the worst record in the second round. They cannot play sea. Packers get the better record. They cannot play the Redskins.

TO cortizoned up for the Super Bowl. That was only one game, and he had to go for it. That was 3 years ago. I am not sure he could dope up for 3 games. The talk then was he would be a decoy in that Super Bowl. He ended up being in the running for MVP. But again, that is only one game

This doesn't have anything to do with anything that has been said, but rather just my own two cents. I do believe that TO will be close to 100% for the first playoff game. All this talk of him being not ready is probably just smoke screen to throw the opposing teams off. He has always been known as a fast healer so I don't think this ankle sprain will get him off his game.

As for Terry Glenn, I don't think he should get many touches. It's just too risky putting the ball in his hands in a playoff game, considering how long he has been out.

Actually if the Redskins win their match against Seattle, they will automatically play the Cowboys being the lowest seeded team.

Davis' knee OK

Cowboys special teams captain Keith Davis was re-examined Monday and his injury was not serious. Davis suffered a left knee sprain against Washington. Coach Wade Phillips said Davis is fine.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (knee), cornerback Terence Newman (foot/toe), and safety Patrick Watkins (ankle) were held out of the game with injuries, but should return to practice this week.

Center Andre Gurode (knee) will be slower to return to practice than the other injured players, but is expected to be ready for the Jan. 13 playoff game.

Owens still in boot

Wide receiver Terrell Owens remains in a protective boot for his high left-ankle sprain and is not expected to practice when the team resumes workouts Wednesday.

Owens, who missed his first game of the season Sunday, has been a quick healer throughout his career and Wade Phillips remains hopeful he will be ready for the playoff.

Glenn makes it back

Receiver Terry Glenn made his debut Sunday despite wet conditions and finished without a catch. Glenn, who said his right knee is not 100 percent, is expected to get more practice this week.

Glenn was upended by Redskins safety LaRon Landry in the second quarter. Glenn felt the Redskins were going after his knee, but Wade Phillips didn't think so.

Cowboys' draft pick

Dallas hoped for a top-10 pick when it traded for Cleveland's first-round draft pick in 2008. But the Browns finished with the best record (10-6) among the non-playoff teams, and the Cowboys will draft No. 22 in the first round. They also have their own first-round pick, and the position will be known after the playoffs.

Health, good and bad, has probably played a role in every single championship ever in every sport. We are working against the health odds now I think. That's too bad because, when healthy, there is not a team we could play that I would bet against us.

Cowboys have been on an unbelievable health streak for 3 years now. Greg Ellis is about the only major contributor to miss most of the season last year. Ferguson has missed most games this year, as has Glenn. GB lost Woodson for Cowboy game +

We've lost both our starting CBs this year though. And one of em was still working his way as recently as two weeks ago though.

Generally though yea its been pretty good. Except for Roy Williams developing cant cover **** syndrome, and julius jones turning into a walking pussy.

I agree we've been really lucky with injuries the last few years. We had Vinny start every game one year I think. Romo has not gotten hurt. Bledsoe was very healthy. So the QB position we've been lucky. Overall on defense too. But this year, it caught up a lot. But it seems every year, the top teams are the most healthy too. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Keys to making a run: play at your best late in the season and avoid big injuries.

There is always a good chance that bad Eli shows up so I think I would take my chances with the Giants. Plus beating the Giants would feel much better.

The problem for me is playing the same team three times. It's pretty tough to beat one twice in a year, especially when they seem to move the ball so well against us. To beat them three times is really tough. Especially since we seem to be sputtering on offense lately and scoring so much was the only reason we were able to beat them before.

EXACTLY! The Giants scares the Shi^ out of me simply because Eli and Buress will torch us all day long like they always do. Their defense is awfully good and we have been gosh awful on offense the past 3 games. Eli is playing the best football of his life right now and that team seems to be on a mission. Beating a divisional rival 3 times in a year is almost impossible. See 1998 when we lost 20-7 to the Cardinals in the Wildcard, i seriously hope history will not repeat itself but we have the toughest road to the superbowl right now.
