OT: Joe Gibbs Resigns

Coach Gibbs has resigned as coach and president of the Washington Redskins.

Can't stand the Skins, but I always respected Coach Gibbs.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The longtime rivalry between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys just got a bit more personal.

Redskins coach Joe Gibbs took a jab at Cowboys fans today while addressing the crowd during Redskins Fan Appreciation Day.

Gibbs said -- quote -- ``I know we don't have any Dallas people here -- they are the ugliest people in the world.'' He later stressed that it was just a joke.

Gibbs says he normally gets everybody razzing him about Dallas, so he came up with that line.

He was a great coach and did a fabulous job this year. I could never get over him telling fans that Dallas fans were ugly. I know I am, but we hdefinitely have more than our fair share of hotties here in Tex Stadium. Even more when the team is god based on the Cocaine and Boob Job crowd. I just lost respect for the guy with unnecessary insults like that

He said it was just a joke, I don't have a problem with it.

It was just a shallow and stupid thing to say, two things that i would never accuse Gibbs of.
