I think after Ware got beaten out for Defensive Player of the Year, he will be out to make a statement next year.

im probably one of about 6 people in dallas that still wants wade around next year but that's until i woke up 10 minutes ago and saw gruden was fired. shannahan isn't an upgrade over phillips IMO but gruden is
and if garrett can get his ass to st. louis that's all the better

I think Romo would really thrive in a Gruden offense and he'd use Barber and Felix well as receivers, but I think the ego makes that kind of hire problematic.

So the big move made by Dallas was cutting Terrell Owens from the team, which I think is definitely a step in the right direction for this team. The big thing that I hope this changes, is slightly more emphasis on the 3 talented RB's that Dallas has on the roster.
With Felix Jones and Tashard Choice emerging as backs that are quite capable of carrying some of the load of the run game, Marion Barber should be able to rest a bit more. With his punishing style of running, it must take its toll on him as the season progresses.
Of course this means its more likely he doesn't suffer an injury like he did last year, leaving the 'boys in the lurch after losing their no 1 back. Of course, with a healthy Barber in December, and a good ground game established, it means less pressure on Tony Romo to carry the team which means it should be a step towards overcoming the December and playoff woes this team has suffered recently
Also, now that there is a spot open at the reciever position, I would like to see how Miles Austin performs in an increased role. He showed flashes of being a good reciever last year, but being stuck behind T.O., Crayton and then Roy Williams, he didn't get much time on the field
