NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett is on a plane to St. Louis as of Friday afternoon.
Schefter could not get confirmation that Garrett has been hired, but the timing obviously indicates it's a probability. Schefter reported earlier that Garrett had emerged as the favorite as of Thursday night. Leslie Frazier and Steve Spagnuolo were considered the other finalists.

Ok I'm glad he won't be the OC next season. I would love to see what the talent on this team can do with an OC with a more complex offense.

Rams let Garrett leave St. Louis without deal

Cowboys assistant head coach/offense Jason Garrett has left St. Louis without a contract, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
Garrett appeared close to a deal when he flew to St. Louis late Friday, but he appears no higher on GM Billy Devaney's wish list than Steve Spagnuolo, Rex Ryan, or Leslie Frazier. The Rams have been intending to hire a coach before next week's Senior Bowl, but there's no guarantee that will happen now.

nooooo bad news!

It looks like Spagnuolo is going to be the coach of the Rams so you can cross that one off.

Garrett should have got a Head Job last year. This year he was exploited.

Shame, Jerry Jones can't see that.

Ticket says LOL.

rumor on the ticket this morning was that for garrett it got down to money. Rams would only buck up $2.8. Garrett is a smart guy, and he better see that he needs to adapt his much maligned offense. Some better communication with his players would help too.
