Roy Williams is day to day with a shoulder bruise

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Fri Aug 28, 2009 4:14 pm

The Cowboys confirmed Roy Williams' negative x-ray in an email this morning. There was no fracture to his shoulder. They will continue to evaluate him on a day to day basis with a shoulder contusion, which is a fancy word for a bruise.

However it is still unlikely that Williams will play against the 49ers on Saturday for precautionary reasons. If he does sit then look for him miss the preseason final against the Vikings on Thursday and return for the regular season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Link

Not surprising. He is always hurt.

Also, what is the deal with the thin skin/fragile ego of UT players. I am a UT Guy, but it is strange how fragile Ricky Williams, Vince Young, and Roy all cry and whine about all things NFL. Since we never hear from Casey Hampton or Leonard Davis, maybe you have to be UT and Big to make it NFL wise.

so ur pissing and moaning b/c he strained his shoulder? not exactly something he can prevent. im glad it's only that b/c 1st thing i saw late last night was it might be a broken collar bone

and add cedric benson and OT mike williams to ur list. plus shaun rodgers, though supremely talented has caused some problems too, and michael huff's a bust

Not really bitching, but more concerned that he seems to miss games every year with injury. Then he whines about rightful criticism.
What a recent list of UT players.

I went to new coop store by northpark, and Earl Campbell is going to be there soon, oct 2.

if its still bothering him by next game, let him sit. no need to risk it.
