You know he's going to be a dictator. Only a matter of time before this happens:

They need to re-sign Campbell to a 2-3 year deal and then draft OLine, Sign Oline and get rid of all the mannequin's that line up on the line of scrimmage. As much as I would like them to get Bradford it would be pointless since QBs get killed on our team. Maybe take Mccoy or Claussen in the 2nd round if they fall.

I'm wondering if there is a scenario by which the Skins could trade back a few slots, still grab Bradford and get an extra pick or two for OL depth.

I'd be comfortable with Colt Brennan starting as the #1 guy for a year or so while Bradford gets groomed and a new O line goes through the inevitable growing pains.

Here are a few things that concern me:
1. Shanahan hiring his son as OC. This kind of thing rarely works. Think about Al and Mike Groh.
2. Shanahan with too much player acquisition input. Think Joe Gibbs. He was at his best when Bobby B. was the GM and the two of them actually disagreed on some players. It is impossible for a coach to not get somewhat sentimental.
3. Shanahan's track record w/o Elway is not all that great

Yahoo News is reporting it's a done deal...

The team has pretty much been forced to make moves, and with the new head coach, new GM, and an uncapped year, it's gonna be interesting to see what the Redskins do.

I don't expect a whole lot of people moving or being cut. It's not going to be a mass exodus but we will have options. Do you trade Cooley now that you've seen that Davis can be a starting NFL tight end, or do you trade Davis who is younger and cheaper?

The team pretty much needs to address the offensive line here. The defense is FINE. Just add depth to the necessary areas, but the offensive line is in shambles.

We've got a thread for the coaching change sticked, so I guess there's no need to have the same discussion going in another thread.
