HELP WANTED: PLEASE INQUIRE WITHIN

Post#1 » by RaoulDuke79 » Thu Jun 28, 2007 2:31 am

Hello all of you Houston boys and girls out there! I have started this thread as an attempt to get the attention of those trusty but terrible writers(Justice and Blinebury and the bunch) at the Chronicle.

We are in desperate need of something that only these precious few terrible writers possess:

A tombstone.

Yes, that's right! We badly need a tombstone on the front page of our sports section! We need to bury the Disastros as soon as possible so that they can immediately make us look like fools and go on a tear in the second half on the way to the World Series.

Please, take the time to donate whatever you can for this important cause. Without a tombstone, we're clearly doomed.

Also a few boxes of twinkies for Carlos and Lance would probably help too.

Personally, I think everyone needs to go.

The GM, Garner(I really really like Garner, but he's not a very good manager), and the entire team outside of Pence/Berkman/Oswalt/Lee/Biggio(he'll retire after this season, let him ride it out one last time).

Other notables I'd keep around if possible, Lamb/Jennings/Loretta.

The rest can go elsewhere ASAP.

Also about Carlos Lee, am I the only one who hates his loafing to 1st base and such? It's so not Biggio-Bagwell like...

Atleast the guy can hit though.

Vator just saved our season guys...prepare to go on a tear and win the WC and get back to the World Series only to lose in 4 to the Red Sox(got to lose to both Sox to make the circle complete).
