Next 3 games:

Home against St Louis
Home against Cleveland
Road against Detroit

Combined record 1-10

7-1 anybody?

Where are the keys to the bandwagon???
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

7-1 baby, here we come.

This is the best Skins team assembled since our 91 Super Bowl team. Never seen a Skins team so tough, so confident and so smooth. Jim Zorn is serious.

Chomp, chomp, chomp....

That is the sound of me eating my words (Jason Campbell isn't suited to run the West Coast offense).

Good thing I've still got my day job.

You and me both, brother.

I just hope they don't let up based on the upcoming schedule. Hopefully there are enough vets to keep the kiddies focused. The coaches should probably turn up the heat in practice, too.

Haha, we broke Westbrook's ribs on the eighth play of the first drive. Well, that's one way to play defense. Anyway I have no sympathy for other teams having injury troubles, we've had more than our share.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

Love the 'Cut & Paste Defense' cutting and pasting the Pigeons to death. We started out in zone schemes trying to make up for the lack of Washington, Springs (and Taylor). Then realized we were good enough to take them regardless and switched to straight up smackin' 'em.

One thing about Zorn, I think it's tough for other teams to get a read on him because even he's not sure what he'll do from one minute tot eh next. I like that he'll take his cue from Portis (ont he 4th down) or whatever and let the team play with swagger. If hey want to call the plays fine, they just better win.

Past years I would have turned it off in the 4th quarter, too much else to do on Sunday. Now? One mroe series, one more series. We're in this. Wohoo, stomp them Birds...

We've got plenty of company in the "Wrong About Jason Campbell Club."

I even said this last season and even going back to we drafted him. I don't think he's the answer as a long term QB.

Please don't jinx this by starting the 7-1 chant (that record brings back bad memories of the Norv Turner era and the "let's get greedy" tour).

I will enjoy this until Thursday at which time I will begin worrying about the fact that the Rams are a desparate team w/some talent coming off a bye week.

Maybe my psyche is permanently infused with the ghost of Joe Gibbs, but the Rams have me worried as well. This is a classic trap game... I hate playing teams that are coming off bye weeks and the Rams players will have a ton of motivation to pick up their intensity level... a new coach means potential line up shake ups and people's jobs on the line.

Plus, Haslett is hardly a bum. Pre Katina he had some pretty good years with the Aints.

The Rams are terrible. The key is to get an early lead on them and deflate them even more. Don't give them confidence early in the game.

The only trap game in the next three is the Browns. That team has legit talent that they can't put together. On a good day, they could come in our stadium and beat us.

New ESPN power rankings and we are up to 3rd place. It would be really tough to put us any higher seeing as both teams above us are undedeated and one of them handed us our only loss.

Having been a Wizards fan for a whole lot longer than a Redskins fan I found myself really surprised to go to ESPN and find a Washington team that high up in their Powerranks. It really seems that a panel of judges works a lot better for something like this than the 1man stuff of NBA

Anyways, the Redskins have me super excited right now. But I also agree with those that believe that in order to get to 7-1 we first need to get to 5-1 and 6-1.

PS. Have you guys seen the Hip Hip Hooray initiated by ARE :D? Thats absolutely hilarious :D

Kinda lucky punt a solid solid defensive possession and CP takes it home for an early 7-0 lead :)

Yeah, that was indeed kinda stupid of him :/

It is not just that we are not ahead 14-3 or even 10-3 instead of 7-10, but meh it gets scarier by the moment.

Ugh we have had a lot of penalties tonight. Starting the drive at our own 15 instead of 25 when we're down 6 :/

Edit: Uh, how come we started from inside the 10? What did I miss :/?

That was the stupidest loss of the year. This was worse than the Giants game. A ton of mental lapses, stupid plays, horrible special teams play, and when the gam is on the line, we have a 4th string cornerback in there who gives up a huge play while Smoot is on the sidelines.

Like I do with a Wizards loss, I won't read the papers, only this time its for a whole week.

Unbelievable. We are not a good team until we beat the teams we're suppose to beat.
