Anyway, this team has a long way to go to be a successful football team. Sure, we're 2-0, but we could just as easily be 0-2 right now. A lot has gone our way so far.
Helu is a great change of pace back, love this kid. He can't pass protect worth a lick, but dammit, he can be lightning to Hightower's thunder.
Finally I can start getting a little emotionally invested in this team again.
I really like what they did with the roster. This seems like a smart group and they got a lot younger. Glad to see they are past the Portis phase. And who isnt happy Hanesworth is gone.
Fred Davis is going to be a beast. I liked what I saw in him last year and this year he dropped 12 pounds and is in excellent shape. He may well be one of the top TEs receivers this year. 6-4. Runs like a deer and has great hands.
I love the RBs. Hightower is what we needed. And they havent even really worked Torain in yet. Nice to finally have deepth in the backfield.
They need to let Coley rest and get healthy so they can roll out Davis and Coley down the road. Plus it is a long season. Finally Coley and Moss are not the only reliable options. They should take advantage of that while they can.
This team is only going to get better. One win was passing. One win was running.
I'm not going to get ahead of myself yet but they have upside. Even for this season. Off to a great start which only helps a young teams confidence. The Shanny's have turned it around. They should be good for years if they stick to this plan. Moss should be good for a few more years. Kerrigan was a great pick. BO on the only side. Fletcher just seem to keep rolling though they will need to start line up a replacement.
I dont think Coley is being phased out as much as he hasnt been healthy and Davis is playing like a beast.
Skins are back.
