I guess I shouldn't pick at him. He's like a scab. We should just let it heal.

Oh, btw:

"Anyone see Haynesworth limping and flopping in the fourth quarter for the Patriots against the Chargers on Sunday, while Philip Rivers sprinted by him on a scramble? Look familiar?"

I think Andre Carter is likely to make a bigger impact with the Pats than Haynesworth. Although I don't think Carter is much more than a solid sub at this point in his career.

The great Albert Haynesworth experiment is over for the New England Patriots.

The team on Tuesday released Haynesworth, a league source told ESPNBoston.com, just a few days after the underperforming defensive lineman clearly struggled in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. After getting overpowered by Giants guard David Diehl on a 10-yard touchdown run by Brandon Jacobs with 9:10 remaining in the quarter, Haynesworth did not see the field the rest of the game.

Albert Haynesworth wasn't unemployed for long.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have claimed the defensive end, who was released by the New England Patriots on Tuesday, on waivers, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

I still don't get what went wrong with him, well, apart from being a fatass obviously. I just don't get how someone with his physical tools and ability can suck so much ass, and seemingly be perfectly fine with it.

One of those guys who played football because he was big. And he got paid for it. Recipe for failure.
