Funny how the media-narrative change with regards to THT.
When he was with the Lakers he was viewed as a huge flaming pile of overpaid garbage. Now that he's with the Jazz, he's an interesting young prospect with upside and a good gamble for Utah. LOL. That seem to happen a lot.

Media and laker fans overhyped the hell out of THT. THT was seen as the same person with huge upside in LA. The story only changed when he didn't produce

In my mind, he might still have been the steal of his draft class. Every expert just won’t know yet because he was so young when drafted. Season three is when a lot of young draft picks got good. Usually they dip in year two. Some rise above it and break out in year three. I think THT will break out this year. But not defensively yet.

What’s interesting is that I’ve yet to see anything from those who were high on THT. There were a lot on this board. Interesting is probably not the word since it happens so often…hype when it’s convenient and hide when your prognostications don’t come to fruition.

I will be shocked if THT breaks out this year, unless he magically fix is shooting form and hit like 38% from 3.
His fans would always go to that "he's so young" narrative. Well Mudiay, Frank Ntilikina, Bender,Dunn etc etc were also very young before, even Stanley Johnson who was drafted 8th overall.
His playing style of needing to dribble 3-4 times to attack the rim just doesn't fit into today's game IMO. Maybe in the 80's and 90's.
