4 TOs entire game for the team

Russ and LBJ with 11 assists each.

That’s a game for the ages .

Nearly a perfect offensive game, great passing, screen roll execution. Clutch shooting. Lonnie Walker stepped up big in the 3rd quarter when they needed it badly. However, defense could have been better especially for Westbrook, I know Jrue was unusually scorching hot.

If they can sustain this, we'll run away with the league... I don't think they can sustain it, but the rest of the teams are in enough disarray, that this would be a great year to peak again for these 2.

Yes I would be shocked if they sustain it with more than 55 games to play. AD has been spectacular but they will have to give him a few games off before those cracks in his body start inflaming. Lebron has been extremely reliant on his 3 pt shooting to be great and I can’t see him being hot every game so there will be clunkers.

Realistically, this game was out of this world special offensively. No one or very few teams can sustain this for an entire season.

They will need to play closer to .600 ball the rest of the year to get a decent playoff position. With reasonable load management for AD and LBJ, that can still happen.

That I think is within reach.

This team even as a 6th or 7th seed would be dangerous.

Fantastic game by the Lakers. This was one of the best Lakers performances in years and certainly the best one this year so far.
After beeing criticized a lot Westbrook has done a great job the last few weeks while comming of the bench. I have to give him credit for that. AD was terrific. Lebron also did a great job. I hope Walker keeps scoring like that. The team certainly needs him as a scorer.
I truly hope this win was what this team needed to turn things around.

Agreed, but that said, they don't really need to be this good the rest of the way to get decent playoff seeding... They just need to be consistently complimentary in a similar way to this game... If AD can lead the attack and defend like he was this game, and if LeBron can share and hit his jumpers to spread the floor, and if Westbrook can continue to do what he's doing, and Schroder can play within the system and be reasonably effective, and Reaves and the rest can defend and pick their spots... This could be a 7th seed... Which would be enough to do some damage if they can also stay healthy...

On the other side of the coin, this was way too early for a 'statement game'... It only means something if this team does in fact carry on with similar effectiveness...

And it all comes down to keeping AD engaged, effective, and healthy... LeBron needs to continue to defer... Which hasn't happened consistently in the past.

All great points but another aspect that they need to get much better at is being one of the best in defense. Clippers has been staying afloat with superb defense even without their top 2 players. So even when Lebron is just ok with shooting, then they still would have a chance to win. Beverley has been getting so much hate because of his shooting but he’s been decent enough to cover the opposing best players IMO. 2020 Bubble team didnt exactly light it up in the regular season and early playoffs but stayed competitive and always had a chance to win.

Huge win. Have to keep it going.

AD was unbelievable and we have to take advantage of this and sacrifice the picks to add talent.

Westbrook - best game as a Laker?
