I don't feel bad for the Lakers at all. They are exactly that their record says they are. They're a terrible team with a bad coach, a poor GM/Owner, have two "star level" players who who are very injury prone and almost all of their roster outside of two "stars" are guys who wouldn't get meaningful playing time on other teams. This is simply OP playing the victim card.

Bad plays like missing key free throws were their own mistakes. Every team experience it and there is nothing else to blame for except yourself. You cam count that in.

Our main focus shall be on unfair officiating just like the miss callsin the final minute or final play. Referees are not only costing the Lakers games. They are costing their season. The Lakers is more likely to be at least in the play in or even a top 6 team than being a bottom 3. They also wasted energy of players to play overtime.

Boston fans or fans of other teams may have suffered from it before. So this is the chance you can tease the players and its fans? Next it may be your turn. Thats pathetic. Real basketball fans look for clean and fair exciting games. We win because we are a better team. We can be proud of as fans. Boston fans are happy for the result. I get that. But can you be proud of it? Yeah, we won cause we have the referee's help.

Referees are hired to ensure the fairness of the game. If they cannot achieve it or even being the source of unfairness, why should they be paid to officiate games.

If the OP's point is that the West is crazy right now and 4-5 games can make a difference between 4th and 13th, sure I agree with that.

But the Lakers "shouldn't" be anything. They might have been involved in more close games but I'm sure the Thunder, Blazers, Pels, Jazz, Wolves, Suns, Mavs, Warriors, and the 4th seed Clippers all blew some highly winnable games.

As a Laker fan, I think there is plenty of time left in the season to prove the seeding doesn't represent how good the team is, if that's the case.
