A no brainer huh... let's talk in 2 years and see how/if we can rebuild after 2 mediocre seasons at best.... at worst some last place finishes if the injury twins bump hands....
You forget we were trash after Kobe and before Bron joined.
Oh how playoffs and Bron has spoiled you.
We barely made the playoffs the last 2 years. No player of quality has wanted to join Bron and make us anything more than a marginal playoff team... not one. They use the Lakers situation, which is chaos, to get ESPN talking heads wound up and then go to teams that end up being better than us.
The games with our youth several years ago were entertaining and much more enjoyable to watch quite frankly. We had the same chance of winning a championship as we do now. Zero.
Bron is done, Davis isn't a top 10 player.... and hasn't been... and definitely won't be going forward. He lack consistency in games and from game to game. He's passive and he's not a leader. He shots nearly 70% in the paint but had rather work for 10 seconds setting up a fade away 15 footer.
We will win our next championship the sooner we tear this team down and start over. That's what I'm interested in... not short playoff runs. Watching young players excited to build their careers is interesting... especially so over hangers on looking for a photo op with their kid at the expense of a storied franchise.
