Rob’s presided over one of the most disappointing eras in Lakers history if we’re honest…. I’ve always viewed him as a useful idiot for Klutch…. I haven’t seen enough yet to change that.

Agree. Luka could turn out to just be a decade of Harden-2.0

Ok I get it...a nice trade fell in your lap, and you took it. I for one am grateful you guys recognized an opportunity to shake things up, and you took it. I'll give kudos for that. But there' still the other half. Once Lebron leaves, and they have the salary to make those crucial signings that fit around Luka....let's judge everything then. Cause like you said....it's been alot of bad times/bad moves under Rob. Not all.....but alot.

A feather in the cap for Rob this week. I do wanna recognize that. But no....he's not "redeemed". Not until a title. Or at least the finals. We get to the finals, and fine....I'll call it a winner.

Yeah....god I'm so glad we moved him. No ill-will to Dallas...just glad that stress isn't ours anymore.

The only bad deal the Lakers made in this trade was giving up Christie and taking back Kleber....DAL was trying to get rid of Maxi Kleber for two years and Pelinka found out just how hard it is to move him this trade deadline when he couldn't get any takers....LAL should have insisted on no Maxi in the trade and just made a swap Luka for AD...or at least take back Grimes and Powell instead of Maxi

I think Dallas beats us, personally. Our boy Williams needs another year-two. I think Lebron and Luka overlap too much. While it will be fun, it's ultimately full of flaws.

Maybe I'm alone...but I think AD is the better player. I think Dallas won this trade initially....but when AD starts to wind down in a couple - three years...and Luka is entering his prime, the deal will flip.

This, exactly. But…

Did you watch our team defense tonight without AD, LBJ, Luka? Impressive.

There’s a chance we could still knock out Dallas already this year, but I’m guessing it’d take all seven games and OT to get through.
