Omg. Name me an elite team from the last decade that has made a trade for someone like Randolf or signed a player like Webber in order to save them from misery? None. Face it, elite teams manage to stay on top even if they have their best player(s) injured. Please see Spurs this years, Suns 2005, and even the Lakers championship runs. Yes Shaq was injured every year.
Last but not least, yay! Let's waste our trade assests to get more scoring! Like we didn't score enough last night. Our number one problem is interior defense and not OFFENSE. Once our interior defense gets penetrated, it leads to so many other problems as shown last night.

Pistons 03-04. Trade deadline. Rasheed Wallace. Labeled: cancer, chemistry killer, locker room cancer, etc. What they do? Lay out our ass in 5 games in the finals.
But as a Laker and Knick fan, I advise not going after Zach.

I know what you are saying by them missing Amare. However, they did have 2 All-Stars to fall back on ( one was MVP). Also, they are a team that has never reached the finals at full or half strength. Having them mentioned in the same breath as the Lakers 3peat or the Spurs team is a little off.
Cheers.

The ball goes to him in the post and it never comes back out. This team has been alot better because of one thing this year. We win with DEFENSE!

Do it Mitch! Trade Kwame for SOMEONE GOOD!

Miami and Antoine Walker (basically ZBo with less post offense and worse rebounding)?

He also plays little defense and is not a very good rebounder.
He is a great scorer in the low post, but I'd have to pass on him.
A lot of the things you guys have said about Z-Bo have been right.....but this comment was wayyyyy off. I'd say he's one of the better rebounders in the league actually. At least head over to NBA.com and check out his stats before you make claims like those.
As for him fitting in with the Lakers...I think he'd fit in way better there than with the Knicks. The entire Knicks team is a mess....you can't expect much from anyone on our team right now. It all starts with Isiah. I honestly think Phil and Kobe would work wonders with Z-Bo because he is an extremely talented player, and would provide you with something you don't have right now on the block. (He can pass pretty well when he wants to....and I can't see him breaking plays against Kobe and Phil's wishes) It would open things up for Kobe and the rest of your shooters. Still can't blame you if you're against it though....it's an expensive risk to take.
My offer would be Kwame and Vlad for Z-bo. Let Vlad be the filler so we can at least take a somewhat bad contract off your hands in return.

We lost to the Blazers last year because of horrible interior defense (which he took advantage of), not because of a lack of offensive fire power. He would make our interior defense worse.

Don't get so excited Knicks fan. He is a career 7.9 rebound/game power forward, which is nothing to brag about. He is averaging 10 reb/game this year on a crappy Knicks team. My grandmother can do better.
Your next argument is just pathetic. You are on the LAKERS board. We are supposed to trade for him because he would fit in better with the Lakers than with the Knicks? Give me a break. Who cares if he doesn't fit in with the Knicks. That's their problem.
Keep him away from the Lakers. He has been a cancer everywhere he has gone.
