 Especially when the game really matters. Weak minded in crunch time situations.

Ok, I'm the first to hate on another Get Webber thread.

But what other options do we really have?

We may not like C-Webb, but the dude can still put up 12 and 7 and might help us avoid a slide while Bynum's out.

Like Big_Bad_LA said, we sign the dude for nothing and he goes back to the bench as soon as Bynum comes back.

Bottomline, those of you who are complaining about C-Webb, don't have much of a right to say something after tonight when Kwame commits more mistakes than points...cause that's pretty much our options right now unless there's a big trade coming.

My hate for Chris Webber has nothing to do with anyone/anything outside of my own personal spite.

Once you get C-Webb, you need to start him, he was an incredible sulk with the Pistons while he was coming off the bench for them.

If that's the case then I take back what I said about getting him.

C-Webb would have to come here knowing that LO and Bynum will be the starters when healthy.

If he's not okay with that then forget about it. I'd rather call up Larry Turner from the d-league.

Webber can't help us, I really hope this doesn't happen. It's pretty obvious that without Bynum the Lakers are missing that threat in the middle, Webber doesn't fix that. Last year with the Pistons he was basically regulated to the perimeter, that's his preferred spot on the court and the fact that he shoots around 44 percent, that isn't a good thing. His defense hasn't been existent in years and his best asset, passing the ball, doesn't do much, since we are already a good passing team, so he doesn't help that much. Fact is he can't help us, but seeing that there isn't much better out there then Webber, will probably pick him up and watch him suffer the same fate that are previous "veteran" pick ups did.
