Ariza Breaks Foot At Practice
January 20, 2008 - 9:54 pm
L.A. Times -
The L.A. Lakers received some bad news on Sunday after forward Trevor Ariza was diagnosed with fractured bone in his right foot, the Los Angeles Times are reporting.

Ariza apparently came down on Lamar Odom's foot during practice.

"He got tangled up with Lamar," Coach Phil Jackson said a few minutes after Ariza left practice for X-rays at Centinela Hospital Medical Center.

It sucks and if we don't aquire Webber and don't trade Kwame and don't play Farmar 35 minutes which all could happen we are screwed. 9th or 10th seed in the West is possible.

To stay positive this means more minutes for Critt and Farmar probably with Kobe playing some sf. Radman is out I believe and Luke is our only sf left. Critt should surely see more pt.

Star, what is with your man love for Kevin Love, I dont see it. He will be a solid Center at best in the NBA, see Chris Mihm.

and too bad it wasant lamar and it was changed to fisher.

Quote from LA Times article:

"It was unclear exactly how Ariza injured the fourth metatarsal in his foot, but he apparently came down on Derek Fisher's foot, according to a Lakers official ."
