Sedale Threatt what is the Lakers record without AB so far? How stupid would you feel if they did go 8-20. I really think it will be 12-20. You can put that in your sig.

For the record star....even at full strength - @ Spurs, @ Mavs, Suns and Cavs could all go either way.

You're only really proving one thing....and I don't think that it's what you're trying to prove.....

Genius,

Take a very close look at your quote.

"If they play 20 games without Bynum my guess is they go 8-20."

What's wrong with this statement?

While our resident braniac is working on his remedial math...

I don't mind Van Gundy, but I can definitely see him getting out of hand, a la Walton, in his quest for the outrageous.

Why can't more color guys be like Hubie Brown? Sure, he's a little doddering, but at least he tries to break down the game and inform his viewers, rather than treating the gig like open mic night at the local comedy club.

So you keep my typo's as your sig to try and put me down? It was a typo.
I stand by what I meant to say if they miss him for about 30 games they will go around 10-20. Maybe 12-18 at best which will put them in lotto contention unless other teams have the same fate with injuries.

JVG is a pretty smart analyst and though he has a desire to make outrageous claims, mostly he's right on the money with his predictions and stuff.

That cutting your finger with a razor blade joke, sounded pretty emo.

keep it clean kids.

milesfides wrote:I don't know about the razor blade thing, he obviously meant it as a joke but it really didn't come across all that funny. It was actually pretty creepy and awkward.

haha so true. it was the weirdest thing id ever heard him say in a while. the best part was when his fellow commentator suggested fake blood instead of being so violent and his following response:

"HEY, I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!"

omg jvg

Van Gundy reminds me of the guy who somehow hears about a party and causes everybody to go home early. Who invited him?

The best color commentators are Ernie, Barkley, Kenny, and it's a shame TNT doesn't have them do more games.

Ernie is fair, balanced, and informed, Kenny is the stuttering guy who usually has good points, and Barkley will be crazy but funny.

I was angry when I heard he 'resigned' from Houston.

If TNT doesn't hurry up and remind him why his players tuned him out David Stern is going to have to come up with more BS like dress codes and imitation leather basketballs to get new viewers hooked on the NBA.
