I am a Bulls fan that lives in LA, so have started following the Lakers and have come to agree that if the Lakers can get a third scoring option, they can be a very good team in the west. So i have proposed this deal

LA End
Brown, Crittenton, Mihm, #1 for Mike Miler, Joe Smith, Adrian Griffin

Chicago End
Griffin, Smith, Nocioni for LA #1, Crittenton, Mihm, Darko

Memphis End
Darko and Miller for Nocioni and Brown

LA 07-08 and 08-09
Fisher/Farmar
Kobe/Sasha/Griffin
Miller/Walton/Ariza*
Odom/Turiaf/Radmanovic
Bynum/Smith

The Lakers would pretty much have the same team to end this season as they would over the next two seasons, but this team gives them exactly what they need. They would get great scoring from Miller at the three position, something they are not getting from Walton. They also get some "big" depth with the arrival of Smith to the team. The lose of Crittenton and the first is tough to swallow, but getting a guy like Miller (who is reasonably priced) for the next 2+ seasons to play the three would help. I would imagine they would deal walton for ANYTHING, but I don't know what can be done about that.

Looks good on paper, especially since we get rid of the "doing-nothing-for-the-team" players in Kwame and Mihm. Sure it's hard to give up Crit, but getting back Mike Miller/Smith/Griffin essentially just for Crit is a bonus.
