Do we now have the best team/starting lineup in nba?

Bynum
Gasol
Odom
Kobe
Fisher

Now I am extrmeley bias as A Laker fan but I can seperate that when I need to and not be bias and that is what I am doing right now but I still see them with the best team in the league.
They obviously have

Best player
Best starting 5
3 legit allstar caliber players plus Odom and Fisher
Best backcourt? Maybe when Farmar starts
Who other people think is the best coach.

We have to be considered if not favorites to come out of the West then at least second to the Spurs assuming the Mavs don't get Kidd.

Lets wait until the team is healthy, and we have our Center back. Bynum was a BEAST this season

The Lakers are my favorite team out west, but I think that it's important to be cautious / not overly optimistic.

A lot of the same things that people were saying about the Celtics before the start of the season now apply to the Lakers.

Basically, can Bynum, Gasol, Bryant, AND Odom share the ball effectively?

I don't doubt that Gasol and Kobe will get their shots, but I'm a little worried as to how Odom is going to fit into everything it tends to take him a long time to adjust to different roles. I also hope that Bynum isn't neglected when he returns.

The other thing that somewhat concerns me is how Bynum and Gasol will play together, Gasol is capable of playing in the high post but part of the problem this year in Memphis was that he was forced to play in the high post wayyy too much.

I really hope everything works out though, with the Nets sucking I want at least one team to cheer for come playoff time.

Lamar is not offense-minded. He'll be happy with just distributing the ball.

As far as Bynum is concerned, we can always ship his ass out back to New Jersey where he came from

............just kidding.

Odom is the ultimate team player in that he loves to do whatever is not being done by anyone else

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
