Now THAT'S what the doctor ordered. That'll teach him how to become a better defender, I mean he could always study Shaq's pnr defense to see how you don't do it. This is great news. Bynum is a very smart individual, and a good student of the game. I'm sure he will get as much out of it as any other current player would.

Very excited to hear he is studying the greats, but to hear that he is "as if he never had the injury, swelling down, half court practices." WOW, WOW! I need this comfirmed, but the poster who reported that says he heard it on 570. I'm so excited!

Thanks for the link! Too bad the podcast only had Mitch's Interview and not the whole show.

Glad to hear that Bynum is right on track with the healing process and is still focused as he was in the beginning. Cant wait for them all to be back, then it would be all smiles for us all and all the lakers. Time to have some fun.

I'd love to see Bynum w/the team soon

His injury actualy helped the club:

Land Gasol
Get rid of dead weight
and might save the Lakers $ on the contract negtiations

I'm glad fans couldnt trade LO for the on the court accident when Bynum landed on his foot.

I'm looking forward to late March
Lakers get home court vs. Phx baby

Go Lakers
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Bynum is a big impact player. He is a true 7footer, and even though he is still a bit raw, you can't teach his length and soft hands. He is already IMO a top 5 rebounder in the NBA, and also on a short list for shot blockers. He is really will make this team dangerous, with Pau at PF, and Odom playing time both at SF/PF.

If he can get healthy, and we can have a moderate amount of time to gel (15games), I say we can make a championship run, or at least get very deep in the playoffs. As is, I still don't think we can get to far in the playoffs, because many 1st round match-ups might as well be WCF.

This is good news, I hope he can get back by 3/7/08 vs. the Clips, or 3/9/08 vs. the Kings, somewhere in that 3 game home stand, because I rather not bring him back on the road. The very latest should be 3/21/08 vs. the Sonics. That would be another 15-20 games or so for him to miss, and all together 27-32 games. Hopfully a month will be enough to get him back into where he was at before he got injured.
Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more.
