Problem: Gilbert speaking his mind, all the time.

Solution: Take away his keyboard, cellphone, and any internet or writing utilities.

Pretty funny, Gilbert dissing Calderon. Calderon is a better point guard than he is. I like how he tried downplay Calderon's league-leading assist-to-turnover ratio as somehow indicative of that being a bad thing. Well, you forgot that he's also averaging 9 assists a game. When was the last time you did that Gilbert? Oh yeah, never.

Here's my thread I posted before this season started, "Jose CALDERON - Best Unknown PG in the NBA" -

Dude is freaking tearing it up this season. I had a feeling he had it in him to be great, given the opportunity.

He wishes he was Kobe Bryant. Just like Ray Allen, P2 and T-Mac do secretly. :D

Actually Arenas needs to develop a new sense of humor. His jokes aren't even funny anymore.

Gilbert has been out of the spotlight and he misses the attention.
He reminds me a lot of TO:
It's always about TO and in this case Gilbert. His comments may have been written as a fun gesture, but they smell of a need for attention and are born from self-centeredness.

Oh, I do have a sense of humor, the kind that doesn't find stolen jokes funny.

I also don't find Gil's pumping himself up at the expense of others funny either.

I don't find it funny at all that Gil's dissing the hard-fought achievements and accomplishments of fellow NBA players. Especially while he's been sitting out the season, blogging.

It's a slippery slope from cocky-funny to a regular douche bag.

has anyone noticed that last year gilbert was up on Kobe's jock and now this year he doesn't mention him in top 5 MVP candidate and doesn't name him as a top 3 SG in the league? what a hater. he's also hating on Calderon`.

Gilbert, stop bragging about how you don't care when you come back to help your struggling team. And next time try calling out a player when you may actually see them on the court. You're dissing Loul Deng and Ben Gordon on their contracts but you're a waste of a contract yourself. AND I kept you all season on my fantasy team! (that's probably the root issue)

Gilbert is actually in the same position Kobe has been in until this year. On a non-factor team with some decent complimentary pieces, but always injured to the teeth.

You'd think that most Laker fans would recognize that and lay off.

Either way, Gil's the only honest guy out there. I gave him the 'eternal respect' tag after seeing this video.

Which is actually another similarity, since Kobe's the only champion to show up at the Rucker after getting a ring.

Take everything from Arenas with a grain of salt. I actually kinda like the guy, he's the Ocho Cinco of basketball.
