Sonics relocation vote- can you help?

Post#1 » by jambalaya » Sat Feb 16, 2008 1:29 am

Brief post to ask if any feel they can offer us - a west coast rival- a bit of support.

Some Sonics fans are flying an airplane banner in New Orleans saying "Stop Clay [Bennett]- Sonics must stay! tomorrow afternoon. If you think teams should stay put and respect the fans and would be willing to drop your team owner (a member of the relocation committee) an e-mail saying vote no on relocation or say the same to Stern we'd appreciate any support. Thanks.

Lakers got enough talent going on. Good luck in the playoffs. Hopefully we'll be back in the competitive mix in a few years as Durant rises. Hopefully still in Seattle.

I agree that the sonics should stay in Seattle. The fans have been very loyal to the team through the years. I dunno, it just seems kinda dirty towards the fans.

I want the Sonics to stay in Seattle too. The league needs to stop approving these owners who come in from other states only with a underhanded plan to some day move them to their home town for their financial purpose.

Thanks DEEP3CL.

Sofa King your best chance at Durant will probably be summer 2012 if he decides to go for unrestricted free agency which wouldnt surprise me if they were in OKC by then.

E-mail to Stern (or use the address listed there for a real letter)
http://tinyurl.com/2ttgao

Or of perhaps even greater usefulness write Dr. Buss if you wish.

Thanks.

I will see what I can do. When I get a chance on Monday, I will write a letter and personally mail it to the NBA.
