I don't think it's that simple. The fact that LeBron still got it over Allen speaks volumes about the league and this event. They should have gotten a co-mvp at the least, like in 1993 for instance with stockton/malone.

-Sedale - it's not a matter of not appreciating what he brings to the game. it's more of a resistance to having his image always pushed to the forefront when he's clearly not the best. if you want to talk about under appreciation, let's talk Kobe. here's a player that people will look at 10-15 years from now and realize what they missed out on during the Stern era.

Blah. Fanboys crying about how Kobe doesn't get enough respect when he's clearly one of the league's most valued marketing tools is where I tune out. Just wait. If this team performs like it should over the next five years, Kobe will win not one but multiple league MVP awards. Then you guys won't have anything to whine about.

I'm not a big Lebron fan, but he rocked it. Good all around game, not to mention he was involved in some the most exciting plays of the game. Well deserved MVP by Lebron.
