Dave is the most recognizable sports figure on the planet, you should've seen it when he was first with Real Madrid, people went crazy.

I know who he is and I know his popularity.

However, he makes what 25 , 30 million a year? I know he signed a deal with the galaxy for 250 million ( incentive laden) and he still has years to go before he completes that contract.

So you are telling me Beckham has made 750 million dollars prior to this contract?

Because it is reported that Tiger is worth right now, 800 million and pulls in around 70 million a year.

The race for the 1st sports star to reach the billion dollar mark starts and stops with Tiger IMO.. however, if you can show me that Becks has made as much .. then please do.

According to Forbes, Tiger pulled in a cool $80 million last year, compared to poor David slumming it at a mere $28.

I have no idea what their career earnings are, but considering Tiger's going to be playing at a very high level for at least another 10 or 15 years -- plus another however many on the senior tour -- I suspect he'll dwarf whatever Beckham makes over the long run.

Keep selling those Buicks, Eldrick.

tbf I didnt realise Tiger was that far along the way. I just know that Beckham is huge across asia, thats where his market potential is huge. He probably doesnt make anywhere near the amount of money Tiger makes for golf that he does for soccer but in endorsements I reckon Beckham is beating him in that.

Probably Tiger will be the first billionaire but Beckham will also make a billion.

To add to this conversation, Lebron with Chuck and the crew after the Roookie/Sophmore game literally said Kobe Bryant was the best in today's game. Chuck looked as if he swallowed his first when LBJ said that haha

Lebron is a Kobe homer.

I am 22. So I was 14/15/16 when Shaq/Kobe were winning championships. Lebron is 23 so he is just any 15 year old realGM fan that has game.

These young guys in the NBA grew up watching Kobe - it is just natural for them to idolize him. If anything else, it puts Kobe's heroics into perspective.

I am not a hater of LeBron, but it is just hilarious how he pushed away Moon in order to talk on camara.

To be honest i think Lebron is just being nice and not trying to come across as arrogant when he says Kobe is the best player in the NBA.

Deep down inside i dont think he means that. I think he knows he can beat Kobe in a 7 game series and outplay him if it came down to it. Im not saying that would happen, but i think thats how he feels.

It just wouldnt look right if Lebron said he was the best player
