Jarvis Hayes, Mickael Pietrus, Matt Barnes, Bostjan Nachbar, and Gerald Green quickly come to mind.

After last night's game, I will not want that guy on the Lakers. I have not seen much of his game, but also getting info from T-wolves fan, he's a chump like every other Slam Dunk Champs.

Let's get a couple more SFs. I hear we're lacking in that department since almost half the guys on our roster can play there.

Devon knows our offense but just doesnt fit with us anymore. He likes to launch threes and plays some defense but cannot hold anyone in check. If we were looking for anyone on that team. Stack is said to be bought out and is looking to return to Dallas, but why not take a stab and pry him from Dallas. Would definitely help our second unit more and i think if inserted with out starters would find a lot of easy points. NO to devon and yes to stack (if its reasonable for a price)

George does more for the Lakers by not being on the team than he ever did wearing the purple and gold. If anyone runs into him in public tell him to keep up the good work in Dallas. Shove that "veto" crap right back in Cubans face.

Jordan, Wilkins, Bryant, and Carter aren't chumps.

Anyhow, Gerald Green has had a bad season, and has taken a step back in his development. No doubt. Still, the guy is young enough that if he got some much needed solid coaching and re-focused himself, he can still turn things around.

Let's assume that LA signs Gerald Green for a very cap friendly contract. Then Green decides to workout with Kobe in the off-season to learn about what it takes to be a successful wingman in the NBA. Green works on his jumper, his handles, mindset, etc. Before you know it, he can be the Travis Outlaw of the 08-09 season. There are a lot of "ifs" of course, but you can't discount the guy just yet especially since he ended up in a team that's rebuilding. He's got crazy athleticism, great size for 2 guard, still has good upside...but maybe he'll be humbled by the end of the season, and this can make or break his career as it might make him work on his overall game in the off-season.

Again, I say, look at Travis Outlaw. Nobody thought that the guy would turn into a solid shooter, much less one that makes some clutch jumpers. That guy was all hops and nothing much else besides crazy athleticism. However, Outlaw worked on his jumper, post-up game, handles, etc. and now he's finally blossomed in Portland. Green still has the chance to do the same.

Devean George is the last thing we need. He'll do more good by staying at Dallas and keep vetoing the kidd trade then putting on a lakers jersey.

I would like him, we dont need him to play many minutes if any at all, just if we go deep into the playoffs we need as many people who have been there before because I think only D-Fish and Kobe have made it to the WCF, just to give us some more championship winning experience.

How would Devean George's "championship experience" help the Lakers in any tangible (or intangible) way?

We have enough championship experience with Kobe Bryant who had lead 3 championship teams.
