Spurs used Barry's contract to get Kurt Thomas so sounds like they're not getting Artest.

Basically, Denver is a lock for Artest.

Watch out for the Thuggets.

They're called the Thuggets for a reason now.

This was posted by the person who wrote the article in the Wiretap:

Someone within the Spurs organization is steering folks astray, as it now seems as if that situation may not exist. It never made sense as it was, and wasn't anything close to a deal the Kings would consider. All is quiet at the moment, and my Denver source says if the Nuggets had relented on Linas Kleiza then the deal would be done.

Problem is he'll be 4th fiddle in their offense. Ron likes to touch the ball a lot. Plus that means Bowen goes to the pine, then we'll see about all this "we just want to win , we don't care who scores" crap they live by.

This is too delicate of a trade for them to make, bottom line is would you want a guy who's emotions are like a time bomb ?

You just don't know when Ron will explode and by the way it's been a good minute since he has so like a volcano I think it's about time for him to erupt.

Go ahead RC & Pop do it...................self suicide and I'll visit you in the NBA grave yard along with Dallas and Phoenix in a couple of years.

Spurs most likely dont have what it takes to get Artest now... But if Denver gets him.....

Iverson/Carter
Artest/Smith
Melo/Diawara
Kenyon/Nene
Camby/Hunter

The Spurs were never talking to the Kings about Artest , just like the Nuggets arent .

Artest isnt and wont be delt to anyone as of this time.

Spurs get Kurt Thomas.

Looks like Denver is going to get Artest.

Wild Wild West. This is insane.
