Kobe didn't struggle because of face guarding. If you are set in shooting a jumper you have the trajectory set already before the hands comes at you.

You know darn well Lamar wasn't getting the ball in the 4th quarter, no matter what he did.

Your teammates should be smart enough to see a teammate who is feeling it. I mean the guy was 7-10 from the field and that jump hook was money.

The good thing out of this is Lamar is now in playoff form right now with 16 games left in the season. The key for him is staying healthy now that he is at this level.

Did a quick search and didn't find anything for players with the ball when they're face guarded. Can't do it for someone without the ball though.
