Great game from LO today, probably his best in a Laker jersey but can't help imagining Hinrich D'ing up Ellis instead of Fisher and Farmar.

Thats a catch but we need to have some kind of insurance for that position.

Like I said, everything but the PG position is perfect with this team now and I just hope Farmar grows into something really good. He's got every chance of being good but again some of his mistakes today, killed us. Though he's not to blame for the loss, a good PG would have steadied the ship and help control the pace for us.

The Bulls' best 5 rotations based on win % are like this:

Hinrich-Sefolosha-Nocioni-Thomas-Noah
Duhon-Gordon-Deng-Nocioni-Noah
Hinrich-Sefolosha-Nocioni-Smith-Wallace

Surprise surprise! Noc, features in all of them. :D

last time I checked, these Bulls are 27-42 in the East, which probably is good for about 18-22 wins in the West.
Do we really need to trade Lamar to get a nice supplemental player like Noc?

Like I say, we need to sacrifice depth at some position to get a legit starting PG and SF is the position that we have invested the most in.

I feel it's almost irrelevant and borderline poor taste to talk about trading anybody right now. That's how I see it. We need everybody, and we need everybody to play well. Trade deadline has passed, and these are the guys we need to push for a championship.

I know this is realgm, and a major portion of this site is dedicated to trading players.

That being said, nobody here knows what Buss is going to do. The luxury tax is going to be pretty damn hefty. How far is he willing to go for the best possible team?

The skeptic in me believes that Buss has his limits, and that Odom won't take a paycut that's significant enough to make a difference, and he shouldn't, as a guy in his prime of his career looking at possibly the last major payday of his life.

BUT let's cross that bridge when we come to it. Not only is this a matter almost exclusively up to Buss, but Odom is also playing extremely well for our team right now, and in the context of pushing for the playoffs, a championship, the passing of the trade deadline, what's the point of talking about this right now?

Me too. I just threw it out there as a possibility out there and I firmly believe in LO's skills and intangibles as a basketball player and I was a fan of LO right from his Clippers days. I even imagined him to be Kobe's perfect sidekick when he was putting up 17/10 kind of numbers up at that time.

Its just a crime that he hasn't gotten himself to an all star team.

I just had a second thought. Trade Odom. He was inconsistant for what 10 years? Now he fits because there is no pressure but who wants a player like that when you can get an allstar or close to for him? He is injury prone, inconsistant, and so very unclutch and doesn't play good D. Trade him while his value is so high.

players often struggle to find their place on their team and it's system, and it takes them sometimes 8-10 years to find that spot.
Odom, i hope, found his. A niche that will allow him to be Jack of all trades, master of none.
Thats what we have Farmar/Machine/Fisher/Vlad/Ronny for, to address a specific need. Odom just fills in between whats left.

Besides, you can't have 12 clutch players on your squad, and you can't have 12 All-Stars on your squad as well.
I saw it clearly when I quit to play NBA Live.

I just want to see how LO plays when he has to go to the 3 before we make any decision. But if we have any chance to get Artest. We have to take him.
