Joe,

I have already explained why - it's because of numerous factors like:

1.Health - not looking too good for the Lakers; At least to this point.
2. Cohesiveness - Even if the Lakers become fully healthy by the postseason, it would be too late (IMO) to build that "trust" between Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol, whereas the Boston Celtics have been playing Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce all season.
3. Defense - In my opinion, the Boston Celtics plays better defense than the Lakers overall.
4. History - This season, the Boston Celtics has beaten us twice.
5. The Relationship between Andrew and Pau - Do we even know if they will mesh? A typical Laker fan reply is "YES", but the jury is still out.

As long as they are healthy and assuming I am not crazy and Bynum does play at least 30 minutes the Lakers will win. If they are not healthy its anybody's game.
If they are healthy they are way better then the Celtics although I do agree if we get bumped Celtics are my choice.

As for Perkins being better then Bynum, ?????????????????? That is a joke. Bynum is going to sign a 75-100 million dollar deal and Perkins lets just say will not. I won't even go into the basketball part because it's to not even close.
I disagree with the advantage Celtics at pg as well. First off we don't need pg's like they do and you dont hear people saying are Lakers strong enough at the point like they do in Boston.

Bynum>Perkins
Gasol<KG
Pierce>Odom
Kobe>Allen
Radno<Fisher

Now this is assuming Bynum starts or should we be comparing Radman to KG and Gasol to Perkins?
