Hey guys, just wondering, anyone have anything on the media's coverage of their relationship. I mean I read Kobe's comments in the Times on Tuesday regarding Odom's 20/20, but that's the first time I've heard him say anything about Odom in months. It seems like reporters don't really ask him about Lamar specifically much and his responses are usually pretty mild as they were on Tuesday.
"He's playing extremely well, obviously, and we all pat him on the back for it." - LA Times.
Lamar doesn't need babying like Bynum might and Kobe says "extremely" all the time as if it's the only adverb he knows so you can't read much into it.
I'm just comparing it to the way he's always talking about Bynum and praising Jordan and even the machine.
Anybody have a take on this or links to articles/pieces that have covered it in the past?
Thanks.
Kobe and Odom

Lamar is a veteran, Kobe doesnt need to say little complimentary things about his game to make him feel good. In the past he has always said how much talent he has in doing deifferent things on the court, particularly after some of his triple double and near trip doub games. Also i think with this team at the minute Kobes comments are generally always team focused, like the team has so much talent, rather than given the props to one player.
