The defensive intensity isn't even close to that of Celtics or Pistons. What's up with this team's lack of defensive focus in the beginning of games?
Great point about our defensive intensity in the beginning of the game.
I think it will be different in the playoffs. They cannot possibly come out this flat and slow on the rotations in the playoffs or we'll be out in the first round.
The key will be to get home court advantage and so these games are critical to win to get a good seed.
Every playoff game will be this intense with teams working hard for every point and on every defensive stance. Dallas impressed me last night. They really came to play from the begining with intensity and desperation.
The Lakers have lacked that focus in the last 2 weeks.
I think they'll get it back in the playoffs.
Lamar played on of the best games I've ever seen him play. He was player of the game by far. Phil Jackson got on his case in shootaround before the game about his jump shot, so Lamar decided to take it to the hole. That is exactly what he needs to do. If he plays that role for the Lakers, they should give him the extension.
Great win.
Everyone contributed in their own way (with the possbile exception of Radman who had a horrible game IMO).
Sasha and Farmar played stellar.
Kobe was his MVP self.
Gasol was solid.
Game ball to Lamar
