Skip Bayless hahaha...

Post#1 » by Bob Saget » Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:23 pm

just watching 1st and 10, seriously, how is this guy allowed to be a proffessional sports personality?? Two years ago he had his top 10 players and LeBron wasnt in it, this year he was pushing for duncan for mvp, and just a few minutes ago he was promising the nuggets to beat the lakers. This amongst his normal dose of stupidity, he may even be worse than bill walton

The guy is a complete idiot. Instead of worrying about the lakers,he needs to be worried about the spurs. He was yapping about how the spurs were going to turn it up in the playoffs, and they barely beat the suns at home. he just wants the lakers out after they man handled his precious spurs. sorry skippy but it ain't gonna happen. the nuggets will not beat the lakers. this is four straight wins, and going on five come wednesday.

well bypassing the crap that he says, there was a point strategically that was made. and that is where was the denver zone? yeah yeah, they dont play defense at all. but still, one thing that "supposedly" bothers the LAKERs and theyre game, was the zone. no, not all the time. but it has at times this year bothered the LAKERs gameplan. but denver didnt employ it.

my point is, i think strategically, i think the zone will be brought out for the next game wednesday. denver will go to zone, and that will challenge the shooters to hit theyre shots. close down the lane for pau and lamar, and open it up from the outside.

nice strategy that i think they'll use. and i think, it might be the only trick left in the bag for denver.

Skip is the only guy on TV that doesn't drink the koolaid that every other presenter does about the Lakers and Celtics, c'mon give us Spurs at least ONE guy that sticks up for us, everyone else just disregards us season after season. he was the only guy last year to pick the Spurs to win as well. He's not that far off being the smartest critic on tv.

So you agree that KG and Lebron are overrated ? Or just agree with his Spurs talk?

The Spurs are good we have to admit. And until some knocks them off their horse they will be on top. I think most people just use general opinions because that is their job.

thats nothin new. we around here in LAKERland know all about the spurs. there was no one going to stand in their way after we broke up our superstars. but i will say, the spurs above all other opponents, gave us alot of respect and props, even though we were giving them the beat down. they won graciously. they lost graciously. and it was their time to win, and they are champions until someone take them down.

so skip saying spurs this or spurs that, hes preaching from new york. to those fans out there who have no idea bout championships. but us here on the west coast know all about the spurs and their organization. very strong. and today, will be the team to beat due to their championship experience.

Skip Bayless is very smart. He says things that are so crazy and so out there it makes him contraversal and it makes people remember him which is probably why they choice him to do the show. He is kind of a white quiter Steven A only Steven A usually has the right opinion.
The guy does the nba and the 2 players he gets on the most is Kobe and Lebron and if MJ was in his 20's now he would be getting on him to, he also gets on Tiger all the time. Now I ask myself is this guy just and idiot and really think Kobe/Lebron is not the 2 of the top 3 guys off alltime? Does he really think they are the problem? I don't think so. I think he knows and he just likes to argue. I think he just always loves to play devils advicate. Whatever the majority opinion is no matter how right it is he is going to take the other angle and because he is successful doing that I would call him smart.

I think duncan is one of the most dominant player in nba. maybe one of the most dominant since rookie year. he gave life to spurs and now spurs is wellconsidered the best franchise since the knockout ring. and i guess it is true tho the threepeat. They have been always there... and guess what, its because of TD. but its true he doesnot deserve MVP this year. Guess what too....he is going to sweep the suns!

The suns are about to disappear as the kings did. spurs still there, and lakers came back too after few sad years.

CLICKY!!

Read this article. I don't remember reading it. If you don't like skip now, you will definately not like him after reading this.

Skip is the same guy that won't admit Barry Bonds used steroids.

Many NBA sources believe Jordan took many more risks than Kobe has. Yet not once was Jordan accused of rape. Michael, from the tough side of Wilmington, North Carolina, has razor-sharp survival instincts. Kobe is still pretty much a spoiled-rotten brat from upper-crust Lower Merion, PA

This quote here, shows how slow his head is. Is he saying Jordan did worse things than make jumpshots on the face of a greedy fan? Wow. Jordan must be very persuasive.
