Corticosteroids are used for long term treatment of asthma... they're nowhere near illegal and they don't provide any athletic advantage (unless you're treating asthma or allergies). I hope nobody tries to accuse my 12 year old cousin of using performance enhancing drugs just because he has an inhaler.

No one said Kobe had asthma. Yes, inhaled corticosteroids ARE used in asthma, but that doesn't mean Kobe was using inhaled corticosteroids. It's more likely that the inhaler just had some sort of bronchodilator like albuterol, which can help open up airways when you get viral upper respiratory tract infections.

If I ever bump into someone that know someone that know someone that know someone that grows something, I'll hook you to something.
You deserve something better than what you're toking on that night.

if it is indeed a steroid, it's perfectly fine..
everybody has an image that steroids are "OMG HACKS OMG BARROIDS OMGROFLBBQ LOLLERCOASTER"
but not all steroids are illegal.. the illegal one that baseball players use are the "androgenic" or "anabolic" steroids i believe
if kobe is using steroids, it's probably to prevent bronchospasm.. go look up "beclomethasone"

According to the WADA List of banned substances β-agonists such as Salbutamol (which is found in common asthma inhalers) are banned if used without a so called "therapeutic use exemption" and banned generally if used in a concentration higher than 1000ng/ml.
Same goes for the corticosteroids, which als require this exemption for therapeutic use.
