Kobe Bryant is clearly the best in the league and Yao Ming is clearly better than Gasol.

I did watch Bird and Magic live and even watching them on classic is the same thing. It's the same game. I did clearly say they have accomplished way more then Lebron and as of now they are better but I am saying when it is all said and done I believe the top 3 will be

Kobe/Jordan/Lebron but not surely in that order.

When I say I can't talk about players I haven't seen I mean like Nate Archibelt. I never seen him play so I am not gonna compare him to Iverson although I probably know enough to without anybody realizing I haven't seen the guy play. Bird and Magic are different. I have seen them play and I still watch them on classic and have been for years. Hell I have probably seen more of them then I have seen KG and I have seen KG in person, all his playoff games and years of regular season.

Either way the list right now is correct. Lebron is #2 right now in the league. Can you imagine if Lebron had a second star? Imagine Lebron had Ray Allen or he still had Boozer? The Cavs vs Lakers would be the finals this year.

i have a problem with your choice of top three.

Kobe is probably top four Laker ( Kareem, Magic, West/Shaq ), and there were also guys like Jordan/Bird/Chamberlain , so .... sorry.

i've never seen that dude play either.

as for your watching bird and magic. you say your 27 so that means you watched their prime years when you were born up till 10. my guess is you really didn't watch either of them for the first 5-7 years of your life. so maybe you watched a few years of their career and even at that, it probably was when you weren't fully understanding of the ins & outs of the game. so basically you are going off mostly espn classic. great, you get to see several games and probably got some repeats in there. it seems to me that if that was my exposure to players, i wouldn't be able to truely appreciate what they brought to the table........play after play.......night after night........week after week........year after year...........playoff after playoff.

so maybe you're overestimating how well you know magic and bird's games
